It was lovely to meet so many of you at the West Wilts Show, back in July and hopefully you spotted the Connect2 Bee.  Thank you to all the children who entered Wiltshire Councils, Passenger Transport competition to draw or paint a picture of a bus to be printed on the next local bus timetable guide.  I am pleased to announce the competition winner is Catherine Howarth, from Chippenham, who will be presented her Nintendo DSi prize during September.  Well done Catherine from Connect2 Wiltshire.

Connect2 Wiltshire, the name for all Wiltshire Council’s, bookable public transport services, incorporating the Wigglybus, RUH Hopper and Boomerang, has been operating under the Connect2 name for nearly 2 years now and has settled in nicely.

Connect2 Wiltshire continues to use the experience the council gained while operating these services under the previous names and is building improvements for the future.

July 2009, The Connect2 team attended the West Wilts Show, Trowbridge, along with our Wiltshire Council colleagues from the Passenger Transport Unit.  We were able to meet with many of you and were able to give out loads of bus timetables, so hopefully we will see many more of you on the Connect2 services in the future.

In June & July 2008 we were able to visit Calne & Wootton Bassett with the Connect2 Wiltshire Road show and you gave us your views, we we able to use some of your ideas, as part of our on going service plan.  Many of you had not heard of the Connect2 RUH & GWH services, so it proved that the road shows are an excellent medium to spread the word.
